Nancy Van Wky

Nancy Van Wky

(FL, SC, PA)

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Doctorate Candidate

I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in military family culture, equine-facilitated psychotherapy, and integrative individual therapy. My work is trauma-informed and systems-based, focusing on challenges such as deployment stress, reintegration, moral injury, identity, communication, and family dynamics.

I incorporate evidence-based approaches including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and healthier relationships. I also offer equine-facilitated psychotherapy, an experiential approach that uses guided interactions with horses to enhance insight, boundaries, and relational growth.

My goal is to help clients create meaningful, practical change while developing a more grounded and balanced way of navigating life.
