As a couple’s therapist Lisa Abrotsky integrates and explores past issues from different angles, helping couples gain insight into adjustments they may need to make in the relationship. She has worked in behavioral health, helping couples and families for the past decade. She has experience working with various populations and socioeconomic statuses in community-based behavioral health care/dependence treatment organizations. Lisa Abrotsky has a B.S. in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She has extensive education, training, and experience in the field of dependence. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, certified Parenting Instructor and a Batterers Intervention Facilitator with the state of Florida. As a family therapist, she is able to integrate her knowledge of education and mental health issues to help families’ problem-solve, overcome personal issues, and create lasting change for a better tomorrow. She uses a holistic approach where healing of the mind, body, and spirit is a priority for successful treatment.

Hello and welcome! Whether you are an individual looking for counseling or you are a couple interested in relationship counseling, I would love to help. I have been a licensed therapist for about ten years. I offer counseling to adolescents and adults on anxiety, depression, identity and self-esteem issues. I also have an extensive background in working with children and families using the Nurtured Heart approach and I offer couples counseling using the Prepare Enrich method.
