Lisa Abrotsky, LMFT, EMDR trained, Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 and 2 trained (Florida, New York, North Carolina)
As a couple’s therapist Lisa Abrotsky integrates and explores past issues from different angles, helping couples gain insight into adjustments they may need to make in the relationship. She has worked in behavioral health, helping couples and families for the past decade. She has experience working with various populations and socioeconomic statuses in community-based behavioral health care/dependence treatment organizations. Lisa Abrotsky has a B.S. in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She has extensive education, training, and experience in the field of dependence. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, certified Parenting Instructor and a Batterers Intervention Facilitator with the state of Florida. As a family therapist, she is able to integrate her knowledge of education and mental health issues to help families’ problem-solve, overcome personal issues, and create lasting change for a better tomorrow. She uses a holistic approach where healing of the mind, body, and spirit is a priority for successful treatment.

Amber Lovell (She/Her), LCMHCA (North Carolina)
Amber earned her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from UCLA before completing her Master’s degree in Counselor Education at North Carolina State University. She is provisionally licensed and working on completing her hours to obtain full licensure. Amber’s approach is holistic, person-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based, collaborative, and rooted in multicultural competence. She specializes in helping clients heal from complex trauma using body-based treatments and has completed Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) Level 1 training.
Additionally, she has experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, and navigating significant life transitions. With a background in career counseling, she also helps clients navigate professional challenges and transitions. Outside of her practice, Amber enjoys yoga, outdoor activities, and immersing herself in different cultures.
Makeda Bostwick, MS, LCMHC (FL and NC)

My mission is to walk beside you, not ahead of you, on your path to healing. Together, we unravel unhelpful communication patterns, behaviors, and the impact of childhood programming. My focus is on helping you become aware of your needs and develop effective ways to communicate them. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. With 12 years of clinical experience in mental health, I have worked extensively with individuals seeking to enhance their manageability with stress/anxiety, conquer depression, boost self-confidence, establish healthy boundaries, and improve relationships I specialize in working with clients who grapple with issues related to self-worth, poor boundary setting, unhealthy relationship dynamics, and low assertiveness. Taking the first step towards change is a commendable decision, and I am here to support you on your transformative journey.
Nina Davis Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP (North Carolina)
I am a Psychiatric Nurse practitioner based out of North Carolina. I have 28 years of Nursing experience. I help people achieve their optimal level of mental health holistically. My holistic approach focuses on the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. I believe in providing compassionate, individualized care tailored to each person’s needs. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other mental health concerns, my goal is to support you on your journey to healing and recovery.

The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.
Exceptions include:
- Suspected child abuse or dependant adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
- If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
- If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
